Real Madrid Just Signed A New Striker

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) coach Unai Emery has ended speculation about signing a striker after agreeing a €25million deal for Real Madrid striker Jese Rodriguez. Emery has been keen to sign a goal scorer after Zlatan Ibrahimovic left for Manchester United and the former Sevilla manager admits he has been an admirer of the player since 2013.

Rodriguez was advised by coach Zinedine Zidane to look elsewhere for first team football after missing out of the Spanish squad for the Euro 2016 championships. However, Rodriguez €25million move to PSG makes him the most expensive transfer of a Real Madrid player from the their academy beating Alvaro Morata’s €22million switch to Juventus and Alvaro Negredo’s €19.4million to Sevilla.

Rodriguez ends a nine-year association with Los Blancos after leaving his Canary Island home city of Las Palmas as a teenager scoring 13 goals in 63 matches since breaking into the first team in 2011.
