Lord Sugar Slams Donald Trump
Speaking on LBC, Lord Sugar slammed the Republican hopeful for his performance in the final TV debate with Hillary Clinton.
The comments come after Mr Trump told debate moderator Chris Wallace he would “tell you at the time” if he would accept the result before claiming the election was “rigged”.
“I’m at a loss as to really kind of get my head around this election,” said Lord Sugar.
“We’re talking of the biggest, most ........... powerful nation in the world and you’ve got the fiasco of this man – he’s just simply a liar.
“And unfortunately the target audience that he’s talking to believes every word that comes out of his mouth – it’s incredible, I’ve never seen anything like it.”
The businessman said Mr Trump’s chances of winning were now dead and buried but slammed supporters for looking past allegations of sexual assault made against him.
“He can’t do anything now, he’s gone,” said Lord Sugar. “Any normal, sensible person could not vote for this man but unfortunately what happens is he says things which are inappropriate, in many cases particularly to do with racist remarks and things like that, which is what some of the American public want to hear.
“They disregard and discount, the allegations against him about women… they think ‘well okay – locker talk, who cares? But look, he says he’s going to build a wall, he says he’s going to make America great again, he says he’s going to protect jobs, he says he’s going to deal with a so-called alleged 'Muslim problem'.”
Lord Sugar said Mr Trump’s supporters would “blindly” vote for him regardless of the debate performance.
“Short of him stabbing someone live on TV or shooting someone in the head, I don’t think they care – that’s the bottom line,” he added.
Mr Trump has denied the allegations made against him after video tapes of him making lewd remarks about women emerged.
Addressing the issue at the debate, he said: “Nobody has more respect for women than I do.”
Gov. David Umahi of Ebonyi has ordered the immediate arrest of the policeman attached to the Anti Kidnap Squad (AK) of the Police Command in the state, who allegedly killed a commercial motorcycle operator, popularly known as Okada in Abakaliki. Umahi, who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Emmanuel Uzor on Thursday in Abakaliki, also condemned the killing.
He described the incident as “barbaric and callous” and said that justice would be done in the matter. He said that the incident had further called for more dedication,
