Desert Foxes suffer Big Blow

Ahead of the Saturday, November 12 World Cup qualifying match against Nigeria, the Desert Foxes have suffered a big blow going by the withdrawal of their star Adam Ounas and some players who would not also make the trip due to injury they suffered.

Ounas just got his first call to feature for the.........
Algeria national team, and his pace would have been of great help to Algeria, but the player has been ruled out following the latest injury he sustained.

Other players that will not be part of the showdown with Nigeria are Soudani Al Hilai who plays for Dynamo Zagreb, while the duo of Ryad Boudebouz and Rachid Ghezzai who were both impressive in their last match will now miss the duel in Uyo.

Algeria coach Georges Leekens has now been left in serious situation ahead of the game against Nigeria in which a win for Algeria would put them back on track in the qualification for the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The Belgian tactician had earlier revealed that his side would take advantage of the injury suffered by Nigeria’s goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, but now on the same level. George Leekens and his wards are expected to arrive Nigeria on Thursday, November 10, 2016 for their game against the Super Eagles.
