"Trump May Keep His Promise Of Investigating Hillary Clinton"

Donald Trump’s campaign manager has not denied the president-elect may keep his promise of investigating Hillary Clinton once he reaches the White House.

Kellyanne Conway told MSNBC the discussion about whether or not to target Clinton over her email scandal would come “all in due time.”

The campaign manager later told CNN the subject was....
yet to be broached by Trump.

“We didn’t discuss that last night and he did not discuss that with Hillary Clinton on the phone,” Conway said.

“Let me repeat that there’s divisiveness all the way around.”

The president-elect has made several public claims that if elected, he would appoint a special prosecutor to look into Clinton’s emails which could lead to prosecution.

“I didn’t think I’d say this and I’m going to say it and I hate to say it,” Trump said during the second presidential debate on October 9.

“If I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation because there has never been so many lies, so much deception. There has never been anything like it, and we’re going to have a special prosecutor.”

Clinton responded, “It’s just awfully good that somebody with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.”

Trump snapped back, “because you’d be in jail.”

Clinton’s substantial lead in the polls was quelled after director of the FBI, James Comey announced a new investigation into her leaked emails, following on from prior warnings in July.
