means of communication between participants. She was arrested when the scheme failed, by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in the state. 

Below is the conversation she reportedly had with a human rights lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, to whom she reached out for help: 


The woman reached out in desperation after her arrest

She admitted that she had not been molested by any of the arresting officers

She then revealed to her lawyer what led to her arrest by SARS officials

She however said she really wanted to help people

The lawyer made it clear that a Ponzi scheme was illegal to her.
