Pastor Allegedly Raping 14-Yr-Old Member, Sells Church Building And Relocates

A pastor, Chris McDouglas Omosokpea of Peculiar Generation Assembly Church, Oshodi, Lagos, who’s facing a charge for the rape of his member’s teen daughter has allegedly sold his church building and fled to an unknown place to establish another church. SaharaReporters reports that Omosokpea had allegedly sexually abused a 14-year-old girl for the past four years before he was arrested in June 2020 and charged before the court for defilement. He was, however, granted bail on health grounds before the Lagos High Court. Omosokpea didn’t show up in court when the case came up again on Tuesday, March 2. The Presiding Magistrate, Kubeinje, subsequently adjourned the case till April 21, 2021. Are You A Dog Owner? - Why You're Less Likely To Cheat

According to a new study by, if you're marriage has lost it's sparkle, but your spouse is a dog owner, there's still hope.

The results show that only 10% of members on the site are dog owners- seemingly making them the most faithful of pet owners in the UK.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, cat, fish, hamster, gerbil, rabbit and reptile owners are among the most adulterous of pet owners. So it begs the question do people opt for pets that are closest to their own characteristics?
The site's spokesperson, Christian Grant, explains:
"There has already been a plethora of scientific studies that claim that owning a dog, or dogs, makes you happier and healthier, and now you can add loyalty to that list.
It's an interesting, if not unexpected result. Man's best friend is the UK's most popular pet, and has been for a very long time, but not among this particular community it seems.
There's always the possibility that dogs are a big commitment and require more time and attention from their owner. Someone who is holding down a relationship with two people might not have the time left in the day to dedicate to such a pet.
Grant continues; A dog's qualities are usually reflected in their owner, and loyalty, unconditional love, friendship and a sense of protectiveness are qualities that everyone associates with canines, regardless of their size, breed or gender.
By the same token, a cat's loyalty is a little more unclear. Often lazy, they've been known to drift to whomever is offering them more food, so it's of little surprise to see that lack of loyalty reflected in our study."
With that said, not every dog owner is squeaky clean, as Grant admits:
"We're not so foolish to say that every dog owner is the perfect human being - we can't justify that sort of generalization. In fact, we've a couple of members who breed greyhounds for a living, while many work closely with dogs, be that as a vet, volunteer worker, dog walker or otherwise."
