LUFC Released Winger Joins Belgian Club

Released Leeds United winger Jordan Botaka has joined Belgium club Sint-Truiden.

The 24-year-old has joined Sint-Truiden on a three-year deal following his release by Leeds at the end of last season.

Botaka struggled to break into the Leeds side in his first season at Elland Road following his arrival from Dutch side Excelsior in the summer of 2015.

He made just 3 starts in 14 appearances for Leeds and he was sent out on a season-long loan at League One side Charlton Athletic last season.

Botaka made 29 appearances for Charlton but he struggled to hold down a start place in the side, with just 10 starts.
