Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode’s estranged wife, Precious Chikwendu, has accused him of beating her up at several occasions including when she was pregnant. Chikwendu, who’s demanding full custody of their four sons, made the allegations in an affidavit she deposed in support of an originating motion brought pursuant to Section 69 of the Child’s Rights Act, 2003. “From the early days of our relationship, the respondent (Fani-Kayode), has always maintained a lifestyle of utter disregard to my feelings. (Photos) Popular Lagos "Danfo" Bus Now Has A New Look

New transport buses aka ‘Danfo’ have arrived Lagos state. The buses have this inscription on their sides: The New Lagos Danfo Bus. The arrival of the new buses is part of the ongoing efforts of governor Akinwunmi Ambode to modernize the state. 

The development was made public on the twitter handle of the All Progressives Congress Youth Frontier South West Geopolitical Zone (@apcyouthomoodua) on Friday, July 7.

Lagos gets new ‘danfo’ buses

The new blue and white buses are set to replace the yellow and black ones which currently ply various routes within the metropolis. 

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state, on Monday, February 6 insisted that there were plans afoot to remove yellow buses popularly known as Danfo from Lagos roads. 

The reason for this, he said was to ensure, a more efficient, well-structured and world class mass transportation system that would facilitate ease of movement within the city. 

Ambode said that his administration would soon roll out a comprehensive environmental sanitation policy that would make the city to be clean without much burden on the people in terms of taxes.
