Governor Okorocha Gives Out Taxis To Keke Owners, Moves To Ban Keke In Owerri


Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo is set to ban use of keke in the state capital, Owerri. In a Facebook post shared by one Ifeanyci Njoku on Wednesday, August 30, it was noted that the governor gave out new taxis to the keke operators.

In the pictures shared alongside the post, the keke operator could be seen rejoicing and applauding the governor for the good gesture.

Read the post below: "Today at Heros' Square, Owerri the Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha addressed Keke Operators otherwise nicknamed Imo Pilots who were allocated brand new taxis as the Governor plans to ban Keke Operations in Owerri Capital City in days to come. 

"The joyous Imo Pilots were excited and thanked the Governor for his goodwill."
