Why I Want N3.5m Monthly Child Support From Femi Fani-Kayode — Ex-Wife

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode’s estranged wife, Precious Chikwendu, has accused him of beating her up at several occasions including when she was pregnant. Chikwendu, who’s demanding full custody of their four sons, made the allegations in an affidavit she deposed in support of an originating motion brought pursuant to Section 69 of the Child’s Rights Act, 2003. “From the early days of our relationship, the respondent (Fani-Kayode), has always maintained a lifestyle of utter disregard to my feelings. Abuja Court Strikes Out Certificate Forgery Suit Against Governor Obaseki of Edo State

governor Godwin obaseki, certificate forgery suit, Nigeria, Abuja nigeria

A certificate forgery lawsuit filed against Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state, has been struck out by a federal high court in Abuja.

The plaintiffs identified as Edobor Williams, Ugbesia Abudu Godwin and Amedu Dauda Anakhu, had accused Obaseki of forging his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) certificate in Classical Studies from the University of Ibadan.

They argued that Obaseki is “not qualified to run or seek election to the office of the governor of Edo State” in the forthcoming 2020 governorship election and also insisted that certificate forgery contravenes section 182(1)(i) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended).

However when the case was brought up in court on Monday June 29, the plaintiffs and their lawyers were reportedly absent. Justice Anwuli Chiekere then proceeded to strike out the suit.

This is coming after the management of University of Ibadan (UI) confirmed that Godwin Obaseki graduated from the institution in 1979.
