PANIC: Prominent Igbo chief In Ondo

The whereabouts of Chief Donatus Okereke, an Igbo chief in the southwestern state of Ondo is unknown.


 Okereke was kidnapped by a gang of kidnappers who reportedly stole some of his cash on Monday, November 22 



Reports have it that the Igbo chief is the Eze Ndigbo of Ifon in the Ose local government area in Ondo state.

The Nation reports that Chief Okereke's kidnap was carried out in the same location where the late Oluifon of Ifon, Oba Isreal Adeusi, was recently murdered by some unknown criminals. 



According to an Ifon community leader, Olaniyi Eni Olotu, empty bullet shells were found close to the victim's vehicle. 


 There is also the suspicion that the chief's kidnappers that kidnappers stole some of his money in the attack.
